EPIC ∑SUMMATION POST Part 1

Finally posting after 3 months(?) of silence.

i got posted into Pioneer Junior College +Huijie, Junhong, Eric, Debbie, Melody, Glen .etc

and made no effort to appeal.. where can i go with 14pts other than this stinking school? I don't hate PJC but just feel so stupid here.. and Pioneer is a school for all those really suay e6 people, who aced everything other than their english..

I am currently taking

PHYSICS(H2)+MATH(H2)+ECONOMICS(H2)+LITERATURE(H1)+the other crap..in the class 09' S29..i wanted to take Knowledge and analysis but it turned out only 3 people applied in the whole school so they said it was not possible to open a class (as you can see this school is considerably fail)

Orientation was supposed to be fun, though i didnt quite enjoy it..(PJC Orientation was supposedly the 3rd Craziest in Singapore, behind ACJC and SAJC)

message to 09' S29 people: sorry i have not posted all the pictures..i am still deciding over whether to put everything here or make a facebook account as all of you have told me to.. there are like over a hundred pictures and i will probably die uploading..

-my laser construction project has been indefinitely postponed due to lack of funds and economic crisis..my economy has landed itself into massive debt ever since i misplaced my GC money.. and epic $178 setback! but i will construct it immediately my economy has recovered..

-i have completed about one-tenth of my thesis in the holiday!

-i am actually making a whole new skin from scratch..but since i am too lazy, i have decided to outsource it and give eric a chance to practice his hypertext and java skills..

i have recently joined Ventures (advanced scouts) along with Eric, Huijie, Zhanming and Junhong.. so we are going back to school (Swiss) as regulars every friday and saturday for external CCA and we are given sovereignty to run our own programme.. i have managed to convice them to rename our venture troop as 'Falcon Hellbirds' lol..

Other than that, the few of us in PJ have joined the Environmental Club as a secondary CCA lol..

it was supposedly, formed by swiss-ex students and known as [highlight] SWISS ALUMNI CLUB [highlight] lol..

i really wonder how's life for everyone else these days. Frankly i dont know what to write because dont know how to put my feelings through posting though i have a lot, a whole lot to say. i think i could go on for eternity if i figured how to translate it out. i have a toxic cocktail of emotions running through me that i want to put down but i fail everytime this blogger thing appears in front of me.

okay.. never mind, let's talk about something else that i am very irritated about: Everyone's been busy throughout the holidays, say, going out with their friends, shopping, working, playing video games and all. Let's be frank: all the guys have been playing video games and/or work. Isn't that totally dumb? -i mean the work part. Holi-days. Holidays are actually meant for fun. Especially this holiday is meant for you to bloody choose your path to your future. Whether what you are and what you want to be in the future. make an uninformed choice and great, you're a nurse for life. its not meant for you to jeapordise your whole future by wasting it away. i am acutally referring to those people who until now, are still unable to picture their future goals and ideals, and still waste themselves on crappy programmes.

And what sort of bullshit reasons do 16-year olds actually give for going to work? 'i want to work so i can earn some basic working experience', 'i need to buy a new laptop', 'i totally need to get that new bag?'..people actually are willing to risk their whole future on a bag or a psp? I know those people who are hell bent on going Junior College should'nt care too much. But what about the people wanting to go into a Polytechnic? Its not a 5-minute discussion you could discuss or decide over dinner.

To those who are reading this: take a piece of paper and write down what you can think of your future and lie down on your bed, and have a good thought.

To those people who are playing mmo's non-stop: don't you ever get bored at it? it's like you had just invested your whole holiday: est.(60 x 4hrs)= 240hrs raiding mushrooms?! you deserve better=.= shaun tell's me its the community that keeps everyone going. i say its actually kind of good if you had learnt 240+++++hrs of socialising in your holiday. perhaps it might get you a little further next time. if you're a girl, maybe its allright, since females are more social creatures. If you're a male, shame on you. spend an hour a day on these stuff and its okay. Spend more than that, you're a failure. try something new for once. if you have to play video games, play other games that require more skill like strategy games or whatever. rather than some crappy ones.

mmogs (even if you have 1795 friends playing it with you and are online simultaneously) are worse than television. get that into your head.

or read a book. how stupid can that be?

At the top of the hill, Joe could see for miles. There were patches of red and dark smoky-looking areas. He was about to take out his binoculars for a better look when he had a sudden attack of dizziness, and then he became aware of the sound of someone crying in the woods behind him. Walking towards the sound, he came out into another opening. He was amazed to see his sister. She sat with her back against a tree sobbing into her hands. Her long fringe hid her face. She must have followed me, he thought. He stepped towards her, softly calling her name, so as not to frighten her, but she sprang up at him. It was not his sister at all. It was not even human. He was frozen with shock when a booming shot rang out, hitting the strange, man-like creature in the side of head.

A huge man, dressed in the green of a stalker, stepped out of the brush. He gave the boy a cold smile that never reached up through the hard planes of his face to his flinty eyes. “What are you doing here, boy? Don’t you know better than to trust anything you see in the zone? That was a controller. They get inside your head, mess with yer mind and take over. I have been tracking it for days. If it hadn’t been worn out from running, it could have taken both of us.”

“I thought it was my sister,” Joe stammered. He knew the man was right, and that he should have known better. But Joe did not like the look of the man. He had a calculating look in his eyes, as if he were sizing joe up to see if he could be of any use to him. This man is not to be trusted, he judged. He thinks of me a fool, and I had better play the part. That should not be hard he thought. I have only just started, and already I have almost been killed, and now, I have become entangled with a dangerous man who I do not want at my back.

“No one should work alone in the zone, “the man said. “You by yourself?”

There was no point in lying. The truth was too easy to see, Joe thought.

“Yes, I am. I came to make my fortune,” he said, playing the fool.

“Well, you’re in luck..I know just the place to go, and I need a new partner. My old one met with a..mishap.” Pointing down the hill at a low, squat, white building, he said, “That building is an old laboratory. There’s always a lot of valuable stuff in them, but it’s too dangerous for someone alone. You need one person to look and one to guard. There’s enough stuff there to make us both rich. Sometimes you can find artifacts just lying around on the ground outside. We can do it together. You lead looking out for stuff on the ground, and I’ll cover you.”

Joe knew it was not a question. He felt the older man watching his face to see if he took the bait. He tried to play along and sound enthused, “Great, I can’t wait to see what we find!”

“Good,” the man said, “Let’s get going.”

He started forward pushing his way through the brush. He felt a prickle in the middle of his back imagining the man’s gun pointed there. He scanned the area in front of him, hoping for something to help him escape, but there was nothing. Part way down the slope, he saw a pair legs sticking out of the brush. “I think there’s a body down here,” he hollered up to the man.

“Wait a minute, I’ll be right there,” the man hollered back.

Joe was staring at the body, which looked and smelled like burnt meat. Its face was gone, burned through to the bone in places. “What happened to him?” Joe asked, as the stalker approached.

“Anomaly, acid fog,” he said. Turning the body over, the man went through the dead man’s pack. He noticed Joe staring at him in disgust as he scavenged through the dead man’s belongings. “Don’t look at me like that, kid. In the zone, a man has to do what a man has to do. You’ll find that out, if you live long enough.” Removing the containers from the man’s pack, he opened them one at a time, briefly glancing at the contents. He threw the first two away, but his eyes went wide at the contents of the third. Hiding his surprise, he said to Joe, “Nothing special, but we might as well keep it. Let’s get going.”

Joe knew he was lying but kept silent. Again, the man fell back letting him take the lead. Joe kept looking, searching the ground, and waiting for a chance to get away.

He glanced back at the man following him down the hillside gauging the distance between them and was shocked to see a heavy gray cloud of mist flowing down over the top of the hill, descending soundlessly towards the stalker.

“Don’t look at me kid. Look at ground,” the man shouted.

He steeled himself into silence and walked a little faster, pretending to scan the ground in front of him. When he heard the first scream, he began to run. It was several minutes before he even dared to look behind him to see if the fog was still coming. Seeing nothing behind him, he slowed looking for some shelter. There was a small shed, an outbuilding of the laboratory. He ducked into it and shut the rickety door behind him. Sliding to the floor, his back against the wall, he rested. He needed to feel safe for just a few minutes.

He thought about the stalker who had so suddenly run out of luck. He had been right about one thing. The zone was no place for a man alone. He had to get in with a good group, but to do that he had to find some good stuff and make a name for himself. He realized what he had to do. Leaving the shed he back tracked to the hillside he had so recently fled.

There was no sign of the acid cloud. The man’s scorched and blackened body was sprawled on the hillside, his mouth stretched wide in the rictus of a silent scream. “You were right,” Joe said to the lifeless body, “A man has to do what a man has to do.” Pulling the tattered backpack from beneath the corpse he removed the containers and placed them in his own pack.

He looked into the distance again and saw nothing but bleak ruins in front of him..

"So..this is the shadow of chernobyl.."

He slipped his hand into his pocket. Slowly took out a small photo, black-and-white and worn all over, with the content surprisingly undisturbed and gazed it lovingly before putting it back with a weathered smile.

Watching for any sign of the deadly fog, he began to make his way into the depths of the zone.

Today was the wedding of one of my cousins.. for a change, they held the wedding in Mandai Zoo=.=.. which was kind of unusual..

Picture looks kind of screwed because it was taken by an ultra low resolution camera..

the couple came in a horse-drawn carriage=.=..

there was actually some kind of weird pony outside the reception area acting like some kind of guard dog..

there was a soft toy from the Singapore Zoo sitting on the table for every individual..i got a penguin lol..

then it ended up with my grandfather trying to be funny - stuffing up all the toys under his shirt lol..the giraffes, lions, rhinos and all..

Tomorrow is the National Patrol Camp open house..so..if you're interested to see hot hunks like eric and hui jie in Action, pls drop by at Sarimbum Scout Camp..you can get there by 975 and getting off the stop just opposite the campsite..girls are welcomed and encouraged LOL..

i am carrying a coldbox full of ice cream there and a hell load of snacks..so if you want to find us, we will be at Swiss Falcon Scouts..i am gonna bring a holy camera there and get some HD shots of structures..

Playing Red Alert 3 and hellgate london recently..for those of you who haven't

played either, look at these videos..

Third installment of Red Alert.

The storyline is like a raped version of Red Alert 2 where a soviet time machine is created, einstein was murdered by the reds and Red Alert 2 sort of never happened..then this Empire of the Rising Sun (Japan) came attacking everyone with its nano + pop culture technology..they have mecha warriors, ninjas and *japanese schoolgirl psi-commandos* that rape EVERYTHING..

if you love micro-ing and macro-ing, this would be a lovely game for you.

Not recommended for lazy people.

Music's great and videos awesome although i dint quite like the game..as anticipated, there are pretty girls and incredible graphics animation. Especially videos on the Japanese Army.

Now this, is what i call an army:

So there's this thing called Akinator who is basically a genie. You think of a character that is real or fictional, or anyone in your life, like your mum .etc, and the genie asks you about 20 questions. After the questions are up, the Akinator will tell you the character you are thinking of. (You can't make up a character of course). Just something to do while we're waiting for that torrent to finish downloading.

I know this is a little backdated..but whatever..i just have to talk about this.

Obama wins blah blah, blah blah.

I never liked obama in the first place, because of his policies being overcentralised on the people, blah blah blah blah.

Okay, here's the big deal about him:

1.He might be the person to bring middle east terrorism to an end, or curb it significantly through negotiation. Obama is half-black, looking like a black, and might pose a different image to the middle east extremists. Come on, imagine you've been a young boy in a terrorist community and fighting the imperialist whites for generations. Now you see a black man, smiling at you and asking for collaboration, it would certainly make you feel less hostile, at least, minimally. And since he's so charismatic and moving, perhaps he could win the hearts of these extremists. He is certainly more than Bush. and Race does matter.

2.He would probably collaborate with a rising China and Russia, and not seek to kick some red butt or start another operation Scorched Earth. McCain seems to be much more anti communist based on his past records.

3.Less racist policies for America (internally). Obama looks black, but he's actually half-black and half-white. Thus his policies would not be pro-black or pro-white, but for the good of America generally.

4.He still aims to achieve international disarmament, especially on nuclear arms. This is perhaps the most important of all. Reducing arms globally would be great for international safety.

We shall see.

Tomorrow the scouts are going back to Open house..i think i am going with them, then later to Cineleisure or something..i think i will post about that tomorrow.

It was darkness all over.

A man dressed neatly in a suit and a tie slowly crossed the road, pacing along the street.

stepping on to the pavement, he kicked off his shoes and socks and feel the road paved and uneven, removing the bonds that imprisoned his tired feet.

He continued walking forward along the pavement, not sparing any moment to notice is surroundings but walked on obliviously. It was not very cold, but he put his hands into his pockets anyway.

He was quite alone, perhaps only accompanied by the round moon and the strays that lived in the neighbourhood, but he didnt care much. Once again he was there. He haven't been to this place for almost a year. almost as if it was routine, he took off his tie and pocketed it in his coat. He sat down and later laid on the soft, mellow grass, looking at the sky. When the migraine finally left him, he took a moment to think of what had happened earlier and tried to comprehend it.

He knew so much. He knew so much of the universe and its secrets, but couldn't understand what had happened earlier.

There he laid, for a long long time, looking up into the sky. As the sky changed slowly he became aware of the passage of time, but gave no concern. Time was of no concern now. the colours and shades in the sky had re-shaped and marbled themselves ominously, in there he saw much. He saw a person, people and a monster. He recalled a beautiful memory that made his eyes water, he saw a monster that made him angry. how he wished he could one day purge the world from evil. he saw the moon, and wished deeply she would talk back to him. the moon was beautiful and comforted him, but also made him remember how alone was he. It was dawn already, and the sky was turning blue.

we went to bugis junction/street and queensway shopping center..

it was a very hot day and everyone was

today is the first time i see so many clothes a day..making me dizzy..

To the person who the person who put the dead bird in my mailbox:

a) how did you get into my mailbox in the first place?? its locked..
b) did you kill the bird?
c) it died horribly, and it looked as if you crushed it..

Victory spoils~

Today was the Chemistry Paper 2 'O' levels..it was quite a breeze..an unexpected kind of breeze..i thought i would die on the spot when i saw the paper..

everyone was running out and rejoicing how easy the paper was..shaun was waiting for us patiently after studying his english (he doesn't take chemistry) and martin was whining like crazy about the cumulative curve affecting the aggregate scores..some people however, i dont know, dint look very well..i didnt approach them to ask about anything, but kept within the group of guys and kept looking, and eventually caught someone in the eyes..

And I NOSEBLED ON 3 SEPERATE TIMES DURING THE PAPER.the bloody invigilators just looked at me and then peered down closely at the droplets of blood on my paper, and nodding slightly, as if acknowledging it, and walked away=.= wth..i think it was very dusty yesterday..i have nose alergies=nosebleed in places with high dust mite concentrations..then i finished the paper with hands looking so gears of warrish.

or maybe i saw a hot girlXD

Then we went to lot 1 for lunch-cum-tea..Yaozu was very angry with madam tang..Madam tang had unususal requests for him and me to stay back in school everyday for social studies..he was so angry he dripped ice kachang on his "cool" new bag.

Then before we went home i bought my first ever piece of Pie Kia.(i wonder why they call it that)

it tasted horrible but it looked lovely.

you know.. it had a little heart on the top middle section..it was so cute..

and when i saw it, it brought back not-so-distant memories

Good luck, everyone, for the 'O' levels will began tomorrow and continue over a span of 3 weeks..

its awfully exciting for us..and i heard that everyone is well prepared for this one..not me though..the anxiety is killing me slowly from inside..

it seems that the recent times have shown much about the people in our class.

The examination period showed more individualism in the people of our class as the time to the 'O' levels shortened..

i think its kinda sad that things become like this, definitely showing the human nature and selfishness among us.

Today many people didnt come to school: either sick or studying..

Miss ma was not very happy, Madam Tang was not happy either..

but she taught us quite a lot..so you history guys out there who dint go to school today missed out on some information critical to the exams..but she kept scolding me and martin, because she had no one else to lash out at.

Things are getting stupider nowadays:

we are going to school for nothing (more like forced to), we are still getting lessons from a stupid physics teacher even though it is the eve of our exams and madam tang is not coming to school (still sick from dengue fever).

seriously, i was wondering how that heroic mosquito managed to get through all that layers of blubber on her.

Something even more epic today happened in school:
Desmond, Martin, Eldon, Ernest and me tried to skip geography lesson and bloody got caught by madam zainab.

Series of events:
1.Eldon and I spent the whole day trying to come up with an escape plan due to the timing of the lessons. like in prison break LOL.
2.The plan was a complicated one, but it was explained to everyone.
3.During the hour of execution, plan was abandoned and everyone ran out of the classroom.
4.We were very happy with ourselves sitting in the sec 2 block when we saw that we had escaped.
5.We proceeded to the school gate and got CAUGHT BY MADAM ZAINAB on the way out.

even alex said the chances of being caught was like less than 1% when we reached the first floor. we took that particular route to avoid detection by Miss Ma. we never expected to fail there..

and ended up getting cruel stares and laughing when we were escorted back into the classroom by Madam Zainab..martin escaped, dunno how..anyway we werent angry at her..we would have felt the same in her shoes..i think she's gonna call our parents or something..

100% EPIC FAIL.

Things are so boring that i even spent like a whole day in school having stupid lessons that dont benefit from at all and use the time to compose poetry and do Quantum Mechanics like calculating the radius of the event horizon of earth if it were to be converted into a black whole..if you're interested, the answer is 2cm..i got 2.6m..
Damn.

yesterday in operation Beautyfun, we made a killing.

things went quite normally, there were 7 people involved in this operation; Martin, Shaun, Ernest, Eldon, gangster(yaozu), desmond and me..

i will update the player profiles (command and conquer profiles) when i am free, but you probably will never feel so much adrenaline in the 4e3 boys ever, unless you were there of course.

there was certainly more commander action than battlefield action..everyone was hooked on tiberium wars..lol and the noobs are certainly getting better..eldon and desmond have become tiberium addicts-talking about it all day long..

then after that, me, marts and shaun went to have a very long lunch at lot 1..and spoke about some stupid stuff..making me learn not to trust people that much..

life in school is getting so boring and uneventful that i don't know what to say..everyone's feeling dead stressed about the o levels..i think i will write more next time..

i think i really need to slim down before its too late..i am eating a lot recently..

especially chocolate..

its an old habit..like eating chocolate when i feel down..

makes me layer up quickly..

I didnt have a happy birthday this year, but anyway, thanks guys..

there was cake..but not the one i wanted which was promised to me by someone..

It seems that recently the exam pressure is slowly starting to build up..it might seem laughable, but it seems that after 10 years of education, i have finally decided to work for once. At least for 5 more weeks till the end of the O levels..

the history boys, as usual, are quite doomed except for a few of us..

the literature students have done considerably better; kulesha, jiayi, hanzi, rachel and all..madam tang was so upset with us that she did not appear angry, but disappointed..but i hate her anyway..everyday picking on me..

I totally regret not studying for the prelims at all and screw up everything: from my history to physics..i am so going to work hard..
